If you have been following the blog you know that Julie submitted the winning story idea “Can’t Always Hit ‘em Straight.” Trent, an avid golfer, wanted their wedding on a golf course, Julie wanted the big dream wedding. Trent did the right thing and gave Julie her dream wedding. During their 1st toast as husband and wife, they used the glasses Julie’s grandmother gave them. As they picked up the glasses filled with champagne, Julie’s stem broke and the champagne spilled all over her dress. Thanks to that stain, she decided that Trashing her already stained dress would be a wonderful way to fulfill Trent’s golf course wedding dream, at least a little bit.

Julie and Trent really helped make this a unique event and a fun time for all of us. Trent got all dressed up in an old style golf outfit that really went with our vintage themed Super 8mm film. Julie was really into the spirit of the Trashing and had no reservations about any of the crazy ideas we had! A big thanks to Mike and Deborah from Emerald Greens in Carrollwood for letting us utilize their beautiful facility!

My husband and I LOVE to golf. It is a serious passion of ours. My husband wanted to get married on a golf course, but I chose a church on the beach; he was very sweet to let me have the wedding of my dreams. To trash my dress, I would take a golf cart out on the course, my clubs and really make some good contact with a few balls. I would also want to do pictures around lakes, water hazards, and sand traps. Can’t always hit em’ straight!!

Lindsey is Tampa Bay’s Film Commissioner so getting the right locations are a breeze when your shooting for the film commissioner, herself. haha….

Lindsey and Blake chose Ybor City and the University of Tampa for their locations and as you can tell by the film it really worked out well. It definitely shows the beauty and diversity of our great city!

Jason Angelini, a fantastic bay area photographer (who we just recently had the pleasure to work with) shot their engagement photos. We used many of his shots in the film. They are fantastic and his creativity really shows. Check out his site Jason Angelini Photography for more of his cool work!

We wish Lindsey and Blake many years of happiness as they embark on their new lives together and as the film shows, with the love they share, that shouldn’t be too hard! Congratulations!
