“Food For Love” 48 Hour Film Project World Premiere

July 23rd, 2008 · 3 Comments

It has been a while since our last post but we just got back from Channelside for the World Premiere of Leftover Films‘ (Tampa Wonderworks sister company) “Food For Love.” Which was written, shot, and edited during the 48 Hour Film Project July 18th-20th in Tampa. It was a long sleepless fun filled weekend that produced our best film yet.

The screening went very well. In group A there were 14 films shown and Food For Love played very well. There were plenty of laughs throughout the whole film. We are up against some tough competition but I like our chances of winning. The awards will be announced at the awards party August 8th at 7pm at Nova 535 Art Lounge in St. Petersburg.

We were given a random genre and then each team was given the same elements to make their films.
Genre: “Holiday Film”
Prop: “Hair Dryer”
Character: “Bob or Barbara Percival, Food Connoisseur”
Line of Dialog: “How could you do this to me?”

Check out the film!

Check out our movie poster that Tracey created! (she was also my assistant producer)

Oh my God, Bryan! That was my first chance to watch this. Outstanding!!!
The lighting was perfect, set design looked high-budget, Great dialogue and very clever ending.
You are one very talented guy!
