Graphic designer Nicole put all her creativity and heart into the look and feel of her and Paul’s wedding day! She chose the timeless, yet modern colors light purple, sage green, ivory, and gray to compliment her Velveteen Rabbit theme. The couple chose to write love letters, and, during the ceremony, placed them in a wine box to be opened at a later time. The newlyweds chose to do a ring-warming ceremony too! What’s that, you say?!? As a way for each guest to give a silent prayer/blessing for Nicole and Paul’s marriage, the rings were passed guest to guest before finally making their way to the bride and groom! Terribly sweet and a great alternative to the sand ceremony or unity candle! Nicole being very hands-on made just about everything – from the invitations and printed materials to the Captain America Boutonniere that Paul wore during the reception. What a fun day with so many clever ideas! Yay for the new husband and wife, XOXO!
For the last two years Bryan has been hired to shoot the Toronto Blue Jays during Spring Training by a very talented and cool DP out of Toronto, Paul Steinberg for Canada’s ESPN – Sportsnet. Bryan shot all the B-roll (the players in action).
You know you’ve thought about it… (it’s ohhh so tempting, admit it) , “I wanna “ROCK MY WEDDING DRESS!” Ashley, with the help of her new Groom, Roland, did just that in their day after session on the white Bahamian sandy beaches. Watch the newlyweds as they rock it IN and OUT of the warm tropical water (we’re talking caves, cliff-jumping and more goodness)! And if you want more eye candy check out the stunning photographs taken by Kristen Weaver Photography!
The Mirror Lake Lyceum is the perfect venue for a romantic, vintage themed wedding and Misha and Stephen certainly got all the details right! And, yay, we were able to compliment the HD video with the retro and waaay cool aesthetic of Super 8mm film – so perfect! Guests typed well wishes in a way cool vintage typewriter located in the grand foyer, the wedding programs were printed on delicate handkerchief’s in a multitude of dainty designs, the tables were decorated with pretty pastel picture frames (that served as a base for the flowers -for real so smart!), teacup candles served as escort cards and vintage hobnail pitchers and completed the design. Oooh, and the beautiful Bride wore a sublime white dress and a to-die-for birdcage veil! The Groom looked dapper as well in his suit and perfected paired bow-tie! There were many tender moments and sweet tears of joy (you’ll see) as these two lovebirds became husband and wife. Simply splendid, right?!?!
