Bryan appears on “Daytime!”

  • July 27, 2011 12:26 pm

Celebrating it’s 10th Anniversary, the 48 Hour Film Project is something that we have participated in since 2005 (remember Fugitive Hunters?). We believe in the project and what it offers filmmakers, therefore when the Tampa-St. Pete City Producer position became open this year, Bryan knew he wanted to step up to the plate and help local filmmakers. Knowing that this is a big job, Bryan knew there was one person who would perfectly compliment his strengths with hers, none other than Monica Varner, an amazing and talented Event Planner at Elan Event Studio and the planning and coordinating genius behind Tampa’s ever-growing Annual Gasparilla International Film Festival. After interviewing for the position, Bryan and Monica were chosen as the 2011 Tampa-St. Pete City Producers!

The dynamic duo have been working hard in preparation for this year’s Tampa-St. Pete competition, July 29-31! They couldn’t have been more excited when the lifestyles and entertainment show Daytime invited them on to talk about the project (Bryan called it the “fastest four minutes” of his life!). Check out Bryan and Monica’s television debut talking about the 48 Hour Film Project!

All the films the filmmakers make over the weekend will be screened at the Muvico Centro Ybor on August 3rd and 4th at 7pm and tickets can be purchased from the 48HFP website.

Ashely + Roland // Day Before Edit // Destination Wedding Cinematographers // Bahamas

  • July 21, 2011 5:20 am

Ok ok so you have never heard of a day before edit? Well neither have we…lol. However, this story is a bit different. High School sweethearts Ashley and Roland were to be married on Sunday July 18th (7 Years to the day that they met), in Scotland Cay of the Abaco Islands in the Bahamas. Roland’s family has had property their for years and and he and Ashley have been spending summers there and knew this was the only place they wanted to be wed. Mother Nature on the other hand, had other plans as Tropical Storm Bret was hanging around on Sunday and spoiling everybody’s plans :-(

Since everything was set to happen in the lagoon by the beach the bride and groom decided to postpone the wedding till Monday. The decision was made by the bride and groom early on in their preparatory shots. So with the rest of our day free and to lift the spirits of the loving young couple and and their friends and families (we had grown to love in the days leading up to the wedding) we put together a Day Before Edit that included some of the footage we captured from the events that ledup to the wedding day!
