Shellii {and} Mike // Highlights // Don Cesar Beach Resort

  • June 9, 2011 9:57 am

With its rich history and stunning architecture, Sacred Heart Catholic Church was the perfect location for Shellii and Michael to state their intentions of a lifelong marriage and commitment to each other and God. Michael, a brave Marine (who hails from a grand line of Military lineage) and Shellii, who is smart, beautiful and full of contagious smiles, shared with us their touching wedding day. From the wise words spoken at the ceremony, to the fun tropical-themed reception, this was a grand day full of worship, love, commitment, and lots and lots of fun! The bridesmaids wore red dresses with tropical flower bouquets, matching the flower in the Bride’s hair (which, by the way, Shellii followed the Hawaiian tradition of switching the flower to the opposite side of her head after she became Michael’s wife!) The reception at the beautiful Don Cesar Beach Resort had brilliant red tropical flowers, shells, fun portraits of various islands, and an army men toy soldiers Groom’s cake (so cute!) honoring the service men and women who keep our country safe (thank you to each and every one of you.) This was such a fun day and we couldn’t be happier for the newlyweds!

Susie {and} Ron // Highlights // The Don Cesar Beach Resort

Susie and Ron are proof that true love warms you up even on the chilliest of days! Traveling to Florida for their destination beach wedding at The Don Cesar, Susie and Ron arrived to unusually windy and breezy beach weather – but when the stunning bride made her procession to the groom, the only thing friends and family felt was the warm sunshine and and the powerful emotion of love between the bride and groom. Soft yellow flowers, accents, and bridesmaids attire really added to the warmth and romance of the day! Susie in her tea-length gown, lace bridal shrug and birdcage veil was a stunning (and simply adorable) bride! What can we say, this was a fabulous day with two people that we have grown to care deeply for (we’d been counting down the days to their wedding after shooting their super fun Save the Date nearly a year prior!), and we are touched to have been a part of this sweet beginning!
