amber {and} Israel // highlights film // Don Vicente, Ybor City
When we sat down with Amber before the big day, one phrase we heard a lot was, “he’s so cute!” Of course she was talking about her then soon-to-be husband, Israel, whom she gushes that she fell in love with at first sight! The newlyweds met at the age of 15 and knew that they are truly best friends and meant to be together forever. The adorable and boisterous Amber and quiet and thoughtful Israel perfectly complement each other and their wedding day was as sweet as their love story is. The wedding day had a true feel of old romance, from the nostalgic ambiance of The Don Vicente, to Amber’s perfectly coiffed hair, rolled to big soft curls (and including vintage hair net), bold red lip color, flawless make-up, and a gown fit for a true lady (ummm, and shoes to die for). Although there were many tears throughout this wonderful day, they were shed for all the love and joy these young newlyweds share. XOXO to the new husband and wife!

Rachel {and} Teddy // Super 8 + HD //Grand Bohemian Orlando
What’s more exciting than New York City, and more glamorous and classic than Old Hollywood? Rachel and Teddy’s wedding day, of course! Wow, just wow is the first thought that comes to mind to describe everything from the decor, ambiance, and the couple’s touching true love that was sparked as high school sweethearts (goosebumps, right?!) The Bride stepped-out in an ahhh-mazing gown and the bridesmaids’ wore black dresses that can be worn not one, not two, not three…yes, you get it – many different ways! So much fun and such a great idea for the wedding party! The VERY emotional ceremony showed Rachel and Teddy’s love and deep friendship for one-another, and we’re pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye on the rooftop (yes, the fabulous Grand Bohemian rooftop in Orlando). The reception was visually stunning, which we expected since Rachel is a coordinator with the talented An Affair To Remember. Candles were everywhere splashing their soft light on a room full of delicate white flowers, black, ivory, and gray decor. There was even movies showing in another room with yummy popcorn ready for moviegoers! It was great fun how Rachel and Teddy were able to include so many details of things they love most – like movies and Starbucks and music, to make their wedding day a true reflection of who they are. Everything about this day was timeless and classic, just like the deep love the newlyweds feel for each other.

16mm Film + HD // Mad Men // Published on Style Me Pretty
We couldn’t be more thrilled to have our 1st 16mm Film piece featured on Style Me Pretty. This was a crazy fun shoot and I think the Postcard Inn is the perfect backdrop to highlight the ultra-cool 16mm film format! Recent films like Black Swan and Blue Valentine were shot on 16mm for its unique aesthetic over 35mm film. We really have to much fun getting to work with such a cool medium. Jackie O’s wedding to JFK was shot on 16mm film. There is a sort of a nostalgic feeling loading the reel of film into the camera and we think sort of a coolness to it. We had some amazing models work on the shoot. Brianna and Brian from Divine Light took the amazing photographs, and so much was done by some of the most amazing vendors we know to make this awesome shoot come together! Well I am just blabbing about it but seriously check this out!

Did someone say, Paris?!

Tracey and I were just talking about taking a trip but this time overseas, to Rome or France or Sweeden. Something romantic and exotic. We were watching a show on Discovery I think called “Great Ships” and the whole show was on the big QE2 and what an amazing and massive $1.000,000.000 ship it is! It is truly a site to see. The captin of the ship is from a small town in Norway and there were more people working on the ship on any given day that lived in the town he was from! Whoa! We researched cruises, which seem like fun and a great and affordable getaway. But 7 days in Pairs for free!! That is the kind of trip I am talking about….oh yeah!
So I was just on Facebook and saw Mariana from Kismis Ink post this specatular getaway 7-Day-Trip to Paris from the way cool blog Oh Happy Day! This is a killer blog on DIY projects for the house, cool Wedding and ideas, party ideas and other great tips! Do you wanna-get-away? Check out the link here!
